2021 Toyota Corolla Hybrid

2021 Toyota Corolla Hybrid review: The 21st century people's car - CNET

$23,600 | U.S. News Overall Score: 7.7/10

Not only does the 2021 Toyota Corolla Hybrid feature a super-efficient hybrid powertrain, but it’s also loaded with driver-assistance technology. A feature-packed 8-inch touch-screen infotainment system with Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, a Wi-Fi hot spot, and Amazon Alexa Auto completes its high-tech persona.

The Corolla Hybrid earns an EPA-estimated 53 mpg in the city and 52 mpg on the highway. That’s not quite as high as the 2022 Toyota Prius, but it’s far better than most compact sedan rivals.

All Corolla Hybrids are equipped with Toyota Safety Sense. The suite includes adaptive cruise control, lane-centering assist, automatic high-beam headlights, and automatic emergency braking with pedestrian and cyclist detection.

The five-seat sedan won our 2021 Best Hybrid and Electric Car for the Money award. It claims a spot in the lower half of our hybrid and electric car ranking.
