Chevy Bolt EUV: Pros and Cons of the Cheap Electric SUV

$33,000 | U.S. News Overall Score: N/A

The 2022 Chevrolet Bolt EUV is the brand’s first electric SUV. While it shares its electric drivetrain with the smaller 2022 Chevrolet Bolt EV, it does offer one feature not available on the smaller car. It’s the least expensive car General Motors offers with their Super Cruise partially automated driving technology.

Super Cruise can manage acceleration, steering, and braking to provide hands-off, partially automated driving on specific highways. The driver must remain engaged and vigilant, or the system will shut off.

The battery-electric Bolt EUV has an EPA-estimated range of 247 miles on a single charge. It can be recharged from a variety of sources, including SAE-combo equipped DC fast-charging stations.

We don’t currently have the all-new Bolt EUV scored in our ranking of hybrid and electric SUVs due to incomplete crash test and predicted reliability marks.
